When membership was struggling, the church thought of new ways to better connect with people.  This led to a homebrew competition, and a challenge for other local churches to brew beer in a friendly competition to raise money for charity.  It was called the “What Would Jesus Brew?” competition.  St Paul’s team named themselves “Brew Unto Others” and their team slogan was “God’s peace. Happy yeast.”
